Winton Woods Football Coach and Player Named Top in State
Forest Park--Winton Woods High School football coach Andre Parker was named the AP Division II All-State Co-Coach of the Year as well as the AP Division II Southwest All-District Coach of the Year. Junior running back Aaron Kemper was chosen as the Top Offensive Player in Ohio.

PAUL BROWN COACHING AWARD
Troy Everhart, who directed the Winton Woods High School football team to an Ohio state championship in 2009, was announced recently as the 2009 season winner of the Paul Brown Excellence in Coaching Award.
The award, given annually by the Bengals to an outstanding high school football coach in the region, includes a $5000 donation by the Bengals to the Winton Woods athletic department.
Last season’s state championship year marked the fifth straight year for Everhart to lead Winton Woods to the playoffs. It was his 11th season at Winton Woods, and his overall winning percentage at the school is .667 (80-40).
Mike Brown, Bengals president, presented the award to Everhart during the team’s annual Pre-Training Camp Media Luncheon at Paul Brown Stadium.
Everhart is the ninth coach to receive the Paul Brown Excellence in Coaching Award. Previous winners have been Dale Mueller of Highlands (2008), Jeff Giesting of Anderson (2007 season), Scott Datillo of Sycamore (2006), Steve Specht of St. Xavier (2005), Charles “Doc” Gamble of Withrow (2004), Doug Ramsey of Elder (2003), and Vince Suriano of Anderson and Mike Martin of Taft (2002 co-winners).
