WESTERN HILLS-WOODWARD
BOY'S BASKETBALL

Western Hills 78, Woodward 71

Lionel Hill and Keevin Tyus combined for 22 points during Western Hills' game-changing 29-2 run in the third quarter, transforming a 16-point halftime deficit into a 78-71 victory over Woodward Friday. Despite the robust run, the Bulldogs found a way to get back into the game - tying the contest at 71 with two minutes remaining.

However, Darrell Bullock's jumper with 1:25 left in the game quieting the Bulldogs' rally and West Hi scored the final seven points of the game to record its first CMAC win of the season.

Tyus and Hill scored 20 each to lead the Mustangs, while Demeteri Pruitt dropped in a game-high 25 for Woodward.
