MILFORD
GIRLS SOCCER
\

After an unbelievably exciting 2-1 comeback victory last night vs. Beavercreek in OT, the Milford Girls Soccer Team (17-2-1) has advanced to the Regional Finals (Elite 8) for the first time in program history! Milford’s current record of 17 wins is already the most wins in a girls soccer single season ever. Here is the online article/pictures from last night’s game for your enjoyment: http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20111102/SPT0301/111102023/Milford-frosh-boots-winner?odyssey=mod|newswell|text|FRONTPAGE|s

Congratulations and some additional perspective: out of the 169 OHSAA recognized DI girls soccer teams, only 8 are still playing, and Milford is one of them!

Coming up:

Milford’s next game will be against traditional soccer state contender Centerville HS out of Dayton.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the location has changed from the originally published state bracket. We have been notified by OHSAA officials that the game will no longer be played at Bellbrook HS; instead, it will be hosted at Lakota East HS. Same day/time. To summarize…

DI Region 4 Finals

Milford vs. Centerville, Saturday 11/5, at Lakota East High School (6840 Lakota Lane, Liberty Township, Ohio 45044)

Kickoff 12 pm (noon)
